PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate has launched an online registration system for athletes across the province. For the first time, athletes’ data is being collected through a Management Information System (MIS).

Director General Sports KP Ashfaq Khan has also issued a notice to all District Sports Officers (DSOs), directing them to facilitate and ensure the registration process of athletes.

All athletes can register themselves online through the Sports Directorate’s website, kpsdi.kp.gov.pk. The Player Registration option is available under the Public Service section at the bottom of the website.

The initiative aims to establish a centralized digital database of athletes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and organize athletes’ information through a dedicated management system.

The recent controversy revolves around the Adil Khan Swimming Pool, where the administration has requested money for chlorine from individuals visiting to learn swimming. Surprisingly, the revenue of the Hayatabad Sports Complex swimming pool goes unused, but things are no different there. A few days ago, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Swimming Association made an appeal to the Director General of Sports, asking for facilities to train swimmers so they could prepare ...
