Financial data for the District Sports Office South Waziristan under the Newly Merged Areas has been released for the fiscal year 2025–26, showing a mixed pattern of budget allocation, release, and expenditure across different heads.

The office had an estimated budget of Rs. 10.62 million, while only Rs. 3.49 million was released during the year. Despite this, total reported expenditure reached Rs. 4.97 million, exceeding the released amount, which suggests adjustments or settlement of prior liabilities.

The largest share of spending was recorded under Grants and Subsidies, where Rs. 2.2 million was allocated, released, and fully utilized with complete absorption of funds.

A notable development appears under Employees Related Expenses, where no funds were released, yet Rs. 1.54 million was shown as expenditure. This indicates possible adjustments, arrears payments, or accounting entries carried forward from previous obligations.

Under Operating Expenses, out of Rs. 897,050 released, Rs. 857,740 was spent, reflecting near-complete utilization.

For Acquisition of Physical Assets, the entire released amount of Rs. 300,000 was fully utilized, while Repairs and Maintenance saw partial utilization, with Rs. 75,000 spent out of Rs. 94,500 released.

Overall, the financial statement reflects uneven budget releases and utilization patterns, with some heads showing full absorption and others indicating discrepancies between releases and expenditures.
