Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muay Thai Association Elections Conclude, Ilyas Afridi Elected President

 

The elections of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muay Thai Association for the term 2026–2030 were held at a local hotel in Peshawar, where regional representatives from across the province elected the new cabinet. The process was supervised by Muay Thai Federation Pakistan Secretary Rehan Butt and representative Shah Faisal, while officials from the Pakistan Olympic Association and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate were also in attendance.





According to the results, Ilyas Afridi was elected President, Tariq Mateen as Senior Vice President, Atiq ur Rehman as Vice President (First), Tahir Naqash Jadoon as Vice President (Second), Shabbir as Vice President (Third), Najma Qazi as Women Vice President, Inayat Ullah as Secretary, Wali Muhammad as Deputy Secretary, Abdul Samad as Associate Secretary, Usman and Basir as Associate Secretaries, Bakhtawar as Associate Secretary Women Wing, Wajid Ali as Finance Secretary, Musarrat Ullah as Public Relations Officer, and Saeed Ullah Advocate as Legal Advisor.

The Executive Committee members include Muhammad Wahab, Irfan Mehsud, Zareef, Furqan Afridi, Nimra, Javeria, Khurram Sarwar, Malaika, and Somia Ali.

Speaking on the occasion, newly elected President Ilyas Afridi thanked the members for their trust and assured that concrete steps would be taken to promote Muay Thai across different districts of the province through competitions and development initiatives.

Earlier, Rehan Butt briefed participants on the ongoing efforts to promote Muay Thai in Pakistan, stating that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa holds immense talent and expressing hope that the newly elected cabinet will play a key role in its growth.
