PSB Rejects Fake Motorcycle Federation and Exposes Forged Affiliation Claim

Islamabad: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has officially exposed and rejected an unrecognized entity operating under the name “Pakistan Motorcycle Sports & Safety Federation (PMSSF),” which falsely claimed affiliation with the national sports authority.

According to PSB, the matter came to light when the said organization attempted to seek affiliation with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) while simultaneously presenting a fabricated document allegedly issued by the Pakistan Sports Board.

The document, referenced as No. 7-61/2025-PSB(NF) dated 19 July 2025, was submitted by a person identified as Muhammad Nadeem on behalf of PMSSF. The letter falsely portrayed the organization as an affiliated federation of PSB.

PSB has categorically denied these claims and clarified the following:

The Pakistan Motorcycle Sports & Safety Federation (PMSSF) is not affiliated with or recognized by the Pakistan Sports Board.

Any claim of recognition, approval, or affiliation with PSB is false, misleading, and without legal basis.

The document being circulated is unauthorized, fabricated, and holds no legal validity.

The Board further reiterated that only those National Sports Federations that are officially affiliated with PSB under the Constitution of PSB, 2022 and relevant laws of Pakistan are authorized to regulate sports activities, represent Pakistan internationally, and use the country’s name in official competitions.

PSB has advised all national and international stakeholders, including athletes and sports bodies, not to engage with or rely on any communication or claims made by this unrecognized entity. Any such interaction will be at their own risk.

The disclaimer has been issued in the public interest to prevent misuse of Pakistan’s name and to protect the integrity of the country’s sports governance system.
