Six Players from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Included in Pakistan Squad for South Asian Badminton Championship in Islamabad

Islamabad will host the South Asian Badminton Championship from April 1 to April 7, with six players from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa included in Pakistan’s 11-member national squad.

The players departed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on March 25 for Islamabad, where they will undergo a three-day training camp ahead of the championship.

All selected players are affiliated with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate’s badminton academy and have been trained under the supervision of coaches Muhammad Nadeem and Hayat Khan.

Following the pre-event training camp in Islamabad, these players will represent Pakistan in the championship. The significant presence of players from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa highlights the province’s growing talent pool in badminton.
