Rawalpindi/Islamabad: The Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) is facing
serious allegations that have raised eyebrows in the sports community. Mr.
Muhammad Ilyas Afridi has filed a complaint claiming that the Federation
unlawfully used his Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and National Tax
Number (NTN) to operate a bank account at Faysal Bank, Rawalpindi. According to
the complaint, transactions exceeding PKR 101 million were conducted without
his knowledge or consent.
The case raises critical questions about
financial governance and the legality of the Federation’s operations. It has
now been referred to the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Adjudicator for formal
investigation and adjudication.
Sports circles and the public are closely
watching the outcome, which could have wider implications for accountability
and governance in Pakistan’s sports administration.
