Since January 2026, requests for information regarding the e-tendering process in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate remain pending. Authorities had sought details from the concerned company about the e-tendering process, including the members involved in the committee from the Provincial Sports Directorate, and the reasons for selection or rejection of companies.

The information has not been disclosed. Sources indicate that contracts for equipment were awarded to companies with no prior experience in supplying such goods, but only in construction work. Allegedly, these contracts were issued under the instruction of a specific officer.

It is reported that computers were purchased at a cost of PKR 278,000 each, totaling ten units. However, none of these computers are present at the Sports Directorate, and staff continue to work on personal laptops.

Officials allegedly involved appear to be protecting their interests until retirement, maintaining silence on the matter, despite the possibility of significant revelations if transparency is enforced.
