Regional Games Camps Underway in Abbottabad; Officials to Share Venue Details Soon

Abbottabad – Regional sports camps for the upcoming Regional Games are currently ongoing in Abbottabad, according to Ahmed Zaman, the Regional Sports Officer (RSO) of Abbottabad.

When asked about the specific locations of these camps, the RSO stated that they are being held at multiple venues across the city. However, he did not provide detailed information about the exact locations at this stage.

Upon further request for the names of the venues to ensure convenience and transparency for the athletes, the RSO explained that he is currently at home due to a family bereavement. He assured that complete details would be shared on Monday.

Sports circles say that timely disclosure of camp locations, schedules, and coaching arrangements not only benefits the athletes but also enhances transparency, especially at a time when conflicting reports about the camps from different regions have emerged.

Govt urge open wedding halls in KP, owners

    PESHAWAR, (kikxNow) Representatives of Wedding Halls Association Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (WHA-KP) expressed their regret over still closure of wedding halls and demanded of the government to open halls. Speaking at a news press conference here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Tuesday, president of WHA Khalid Ayub said that livelihood of hundreds of thousands workers were associated those wedding halls but it depends of their running business of marriages in the concerned halls. He said that there were 120 registered and 170 unregistered wedding halls in the provincial metropolis (Peshawar) while in the province there approximately 600 marriage halls, which were closed for four months due to COVID-19.
