Strong Showing by Samar Bagh Athletes as Seven Players Selected for Under-21 Divisional Handball Team

The provincial government is organizing the Under-21 Games this year, and the first round of trials was held today in Kabal, Swat for the divisional teams. In the handball trials, ten players were selected for the divisional squad. Out of these ten, seven players came from the Samar Bagh Handball Team, marking a big achievement for the area. Congratulations to everyone who supported these young athletes.

It is worth noting that Qari Azizullah, a member of the Samar Bagh Handball Team, is already part of the provincial squad and is currently participating in the national championship trials. This reflects the growing recognition of talent from Samar Bagh at both provincial and national levels.

In addition, the GHSS Samar Bagh handball team had already secured its place in the provincial round after winning the schools tournament from Malakand-I. Their consistent performance shows that Samar Bagh has become a strong hub for emerging handball players.

Govt urge open wedding halls in KP, owners

    PESHAWAR, (kikxNow) Representatives of Wedding Halls Association Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (WHA-KP) expressed their regret over still closure of wedding halls and demanded of the government to open halls. Speaking at a news press conference here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Tuesday, president of WHA Khalid Ayub said that livelihood of hundreds of thousands workers were associated those wedding halls but it depends of their running business of marriages in the concerned halls. He said that there were 120 registered and 170 unregistered wedding halls in the provincial metropolis (Peshawar) while in the province there approximately 600 marriage halls, which were closed for four months due to COVID-19.
