All Pakistan Ziad Durani Football Tournament concludes in Bannu, Mumash Khel wins final 0–2

Bannu. The All Pakistan Ziad Durani Football Tournament concluded impressively amidst a heavy gathering of spectators. The final match, played between Mumash Khel of Bannu and Mianwali-Punjab, was won by Mumash Khel with a clear margin of 0–2. Mumash Khel lifted the title.

The winning team was given a cash prize of PKR 200,000, while the runner-up team was given PKR 50,000. The Man of the Match and Best Scorer awards carried PKR 5,000 each. In total, 45 teams from across the country participated, giving it strong national representation.

The final was attended by former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Zahid Akram Khan Durani as the chief guest. Other prominent persons who attended included Malik Abrar Khan, former Tehsil Nazim Engineer Malik Ahsan Khan, Malik Rahat Khan, Tehsil Municipal Officer Muhammad Yousaf Khan, Advocate Malik Sinan Durani, Malik Nasir Gul Khan, Shoaib Surani, tournament organizers Israr Bangash and Naseebur Rehman, besides officials of different organizations.

Zahid Akram Khan Durani said in his address that where playgrounds flourish, the hospitals are without patients. He said that sports should be promoted to have a healthy and peaceful society. He condemned the previous decisions that damaged sports by imposing political favorites but appreciated the passion of the Bannu people regarding both sports and peace.

He said that the Durani family and JUI stand as symbols of development and stability in Bannu. They reduced deprivation in the region that had been going on for decades while previous governments brought nothing but mismanagement and insecurity. He added that this year's Ziad Durani Memorial Tournament sends out a strong message of peace, hospitality, and unity from the people of Bannu. As he further said, if the public remembers the services of JUI and the Durani family, no one can defeat them in any field.

Govt urge open wedding halls in KP, owners

    PESHAWAR, (kikxNow) Representatives of Wedding Halls Association Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (WHA-KP) expressed their regret over still closure of wedding halls and demanded of the government to open halls. Speaking at a news press conference here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Tuesday, president of WHA Khalid Ayub said that livelihood of hundreds of thousands workers were associated those wedding halls but it depends of their running business of marriages in the concerned halls. He said that there were 120 registered and 170 unregistered wedding halls in the provincial metropolis (Peshawar) while in the province there approximately 600 marriage halls, which were closed for four months due to COVID-19.
