Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sports Department's apparent indifference and lack of attention have once again come to light. The seniority list for Caretakers and Storekeepers (BPS-08) remains incomplete even after seven months. A new official reminder, issued on July 15, 2025, has once again urged the Director General of Sports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, to provide an immediate response.

This latest memo serves as a reminder to a letter originally sent on April 24, 2025, followed by a first reminder on June 16, 2025. Despite these repeated communications, no reply has been received from the concerned office.

According to the memo, the seniority list was to be finalized based on the situation as of December 21, 2022, and February 15, 2025. However, the department's silence has left the future of numerous employees uncertain.

The letter explicitly states, "Despite the passage of considerable time, relevant comments or responses have not been received. Please resolve these matters on a priority basis and provide a response within one week." Copies of this crucial reminder have also been sent to the Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Deputy Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Sources indicate that the prolonged delay in the seniority list has caused significant unrest among employees, as promotions, transfers, and other administrative decisions depend on this list. If this situation persists, not only will employees suffer, but the department's reputation will also be called into question.
