Exciting archery competitions at the Diwali sports gala in Peshawar; active participation from the minority community.

Peshawar, Thrilling archery competitions were conducted by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Archery Association at the Colonel Sher Khan Army Stadium in Peshawar for the Diwali Sports Gala. Secretary, Provincial Archery Association, Sarah Khan and senior and associate secretary archer Akbar Khan attended the event.

Archery competitions were specially arranged at the request of the minority community on the occasion of Diwali and seen enthusiasts from among both the children and adults of the minority community.

Archery Inquiries. The guests invited for the Diwali Sports Gala have also shown interest in archery. ASP Nayab thanked Sarah Khan for conducting the archery match and said that she will get in contact with the Provincial Archery Association to learn archery in the future. SP Traffic Khalid Khan and other guests also participated in the archery competition.

As archery is also one of the Hindu religious sports, it has had a great importance for the minority community. The event was approached to the Provincial Archery Association who organized their events once a year and are still organizing them annually.
