Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate is under fire for its upcoming Horse and Cattle Show, scheduled for November 8-10 at Sher Khan Army Stadium. Critics have raised concerns over the transparency of the event's planning and budgeting.

Despite the release of an advertisement featuring the Chief Minister, crucial details about the event, such as the exact budget and contractor selection process, remain undisclosed. This lack of transparency has led to speculation about potential misuse of public funds.

Moreover, questions have been raised about the practicality of hosting such a large-scale event at the Army Stadium, considering the required infrastructure and logistics.

Local sports enthusiasts and journalists have called for greater accountability from the Sports Directorate and urged them to address the public's concerns.
