Provincial president Appointed Chief Coordinator for Junior Hockey Championship

 

Peshawar, September 24, 2024: In a significant boost to the province's hockey scene, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has appointed Syed Zahir Shah, the President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Hockey Association, as the Chief Coordinator for the upcoming National Junior Hockey Championship. The prestigious tournament is set to be held in Islamabad from September 25 to October 5.

To ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the championship, the PHF has also selected Qaiser Dud, a renowned umpire from Peshawar, to officiate the matches. His expertise and experience will undoubtedly contribute to the success of the event.

The appointment of Syed Zahir Shah and Qaiser Dud is a testament to the growing talent and dedication within the hockey community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Their involvement is expected to inspire young hockey players across the province and foster a competitive spirit.
