Mokha Matches Set to Ignite in Mardan Next Week

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan: The regional sports scene is set to heat up as the highly anticipated Mokha matches are scheduled to take place in the Katling area of Mardan district next week.

Organized by the District Sports Office Mardan and the district administration, these inter-club level competitions will feature players from prominent regional sports clubs, including those from Mardan itself. The matches will provide a platform for local athletes to showcase their skills and compete against their peers.

The opening ceremony is slated for September 30, where the Deputy Commissioner of Mardan will be the guest of honor. The one-week-long event will culminate on October 6 with a grand closing ceremony. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Adviser and DG Sports will grace the occasion and distribute prizes to the outstanding players.

Mokha, a traditional sport popular in various regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Swabi, Mardan, and Haripur, is expected to draw significant attention and participation from sports enthusiasts across the province.
