KP Hockey Teams Announced for Junior Championship

Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Hockey Association has officially named two teams to represent the province in the upcoming Junior Hockey Championship. A talented pool of players from various districts across the province has been selected to make up the rosters.

 

Team members : Ali (Peshawar), Zulqarnain (Peshawar), Saeed (Upper Dir), Ehtesham (Bannu), Daniyal (Peshawar), Ahsan (Peshawar), Sohail Abbas (Bunir), Ismail (Peshawar), Ibadullah (Mardan), Numan (Peshawar), Qasim (Bannu), Usman (Bannu), Salahuddin (Peshawar), Umar (Peshawar), Salman (Peshawar), Osama (Bannu), Ahmar (Haripur), Danish (Bannu), Naveed (Alam), Abbas (Sons), Salim (Swat), Saeedullah (Peshawar), Hassan Niaz (Sons), Muzamil (Swat), Mushtaq (Abbottabad), Samir (Peshawar), Inayatullah (Sons), Hasnain (Sons), Ahmadullah (Sons), Maqbool (Sons), Afnan (Peshawar), Ata-ul-Rahman (Bannu), Yasin (Malakand), Yasir (Mardan), Saqib (Deir), Ahmar (Bannu), Azzaz (Peshawar), Numan Munaf (Swabi), Khyber (Yasir).

Both teams are currently en route to Islamabad to participate in the championship.

Govt urge open wedding halls in KP, owners

    PESHAWAR, (kikxNow) Representatives of Wedding Halls Association Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (WHA-KP) expressed their regret over still closure of wedding halls and demanded of the government to open halls. Speaking at a news press conference here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Tuesday, president of WHA Khalid Ayub said that livelihood of hundreds of thousands workers were associated those wedding halls but it depends of their running business of marriages in the concerned halls. He said that there were 120 registered and 170 unregistered wedding halls in the provincial metropolis (Peshawar) while in the province there approximately 600 marriage halls, which were closed for four months due to COVID-19.
