"Football Players in Khyber District Face Challenges Due to Lack of Sports Facilities, Urge Authorities for Action"

General Secretary of District Khyber Landikotal Khyber Sports Club, Kaleemullah Shinwari, along with his colleagues Amanullah Shinwari, Manzoor Shinwari, Bilal Afridi, Sajjad Shinwari, Irshad Afridi, Asad Shinwari, and other football players, addressed the media at the Landikotal District Khyber. During the "Meet the Press" program, they expressed their concerns about the severe lack of sports infrastructure in the region.

The representatives of the Kunj Sports Ground Committee and other players pointed out the persistent challenges they face due to the absence of a proper sports complex and ground in the Landikotal area of Khyber. Despite repeated requests and demands presented to the authorities, no steps have been taken to construct a sports complex. This lack of facilities has not only hindered sports activities in the area but has also increased the difficulties faced by athletes, leading to frustration among the local sports community.

The players emphasized that building a sports complex in Landikotal is a long-standing demand that has been ignored for too long. They urged the authorities to take immediate action to address this issue so that sports activities can flourish and the youth of Khyber District can have the opportunity to participate in and develop their talents.
