Peshawar ,   In a glaring oversight at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Sports Complex, athletes are facing a serious health risk due to the deteriorating condition of water coolers. The rusted and neglected water coolers are not just an eyesore but a potential hazard for the many players relying on them to stay hydrated.

Clean drinking water is essential for athletes, who need to stay hydrated to perform at their best. Rust and contamination from poorly maintained equipment can lead to serious health issues, including gastrointestinal problems and infections. The current state of the water coolers at the KPK Sports Complex is unacceptable and poses a direct threat to the well-being of the players who depend on this facility.

Despite numerous complaints and concerns raised by the players and coaches, there has been little to no action taken to address the issue. The rust on the water coolers indicates a long-standing problem that has been ignored by facility management. Regular maintenance checks and prompt repairs are crucial for ensuring that the equipment is safe and functional, but this essential oversight appears to be absent.

It is imperative that the authorities at the KPK Sports Complex take immediate action to address this issue. Cleaning or replacing the rusted water coolers and implementing a routine maintenance schedule are necessary steps to ensure that the athletes have access to clean and safe drinking water. The health and safety of the players should be a top priority.

The neglect of such a critical aspect of player health not only undermines the quality of the sports complex but also reflects poorly on its management. Immediate and effective measures must be taken to rectify this situation and restore trust in the facility's commitment to player well-being.
