Illegal Promotions by Former DG Sports Revoked in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar, Illegal promotions carried out by the former Director General (DG) of Sports in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been declared null and void.

An official who was unlawfully promoted to grade 17 has been reverted to their original position of grade 16. Four officials were involved in the promotion scandal, with two others overlooked for their subsequent promotions.

The promotions were deemed illegal as they favored individuals from the merged districts, violating established rules. This decision comes after a legal challenge was filed in the Peshawar High Court.

Additionally, it has been revealed that government vehicles were illegally assigned to drivers enjoying grade 17 privileges. Despite repeated orders to return the vehicles, the situation remains unresolved.
