Hockey Camp Starts in Peshawar to Groom Future Stars

 

Peshawar ,  Peshawar is set to witness a surge in hockey talent as the District Hockey Association kicks off a training camp at the Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium from August 12. Players of all ages are encouraged to participate.

The camp aims to prepare teams for the upcoming senior and junior championships, as per the directives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Hockey Association. District associations across the province have been tasked to conduct similar camps to identify and nurture young talent.

To celebrate Independence Day, hockey competitions will be held on August 13 and 14 at the district level. This initiative highlights the association's commitment to promoting hockey and fostering a patriotic spirit.

Yasir Islam and Asif Islam are expected to be a key figure in the camp, contributing his expertise to the development of young hockey players.
