Outcry Erupts After Harassment of Female Player at Peshawar Sports Complex

PESHAWAR: A disturbing incident at the Peshawar Sports Complex has sparked outrage after a female player was harassed by an outsider posing as a player. The administration's initial silence on the matter has only fueled public anger.

Reports allege the attack occurred outside the table tennis hall. Despite being informed about the harassment and previous security concerns, the administration remained quiet until after the incident.

Sources within the Sports Directorate claim this is not an isolated event and that the administration has a history of failing to respond to such issues.

Adding insult to injury, the sole security officer stationed at the arena was reportedly absent at the time of the harassment. This lapse in security has caused significant mental stress and anxiety amongst other female athletes using the facility.

The denial of any knowledge by Administrator Peshawar Sports Complex Jafar Shah further undermines public trust. Calls are mounting for a thorough investigation and stricter security measures to ensure the safety of athletes, particularly female players.
