Luqman Hameed Vows to Support Youth Sports Programs After Witnessing Peshawar's Boxing Talent

Peshawar's Youth MPA, Luqman Hameed, has declared promoting youth participation in sports a form of jihad (righteous struggle). He expressed his astonishment at the exceptional boxing talent displayed by young athletes in Peshawar.

Hameed made these remarks during a conversation with Khizrullah Jan, Secretary of the Provincial Boxing Association, at the Peshawar Sports Complex. The occasion was a club registration event, where Hameed participated as the guest of honor.

The complex also hosted boxing matches featuring fighters from Hayatabad's Boxing Club.

Hameed commended the young boxers' performance and expressed his delight. He viewed it as a golden opportunity for Peshawar's youth. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the association in attracting youth away from drugs and other negative influences.

"Encouraging them toward sports is a crucial jihad," Hameed emphasized, "because these youngsters are our future." He pledged his full support to the association's representatives and received commemorative shields presented by the organization.
