Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kabaddi Struggles Without Government Support

Kabaddi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing a major challenge due to lack of financial support from the Provincial Sports Directorate. The association hasn't received any grants for four years, hindering kabaddi development in the province.

Syed Sultan Bacha, Secretary General of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kabaddi Association, highlighted the struggles despite the presence of talented kabaddi players. He emphasized the need for government support to organize more frequent competitions and promote the game at the local level.

The news report also sheds light on Sultan Bacha's personal journey from volleyball and basketball to becoming a prominent kabaddi player. It highlights the dedication of individuals like Bacha and Malik Riyaz from Bannu who are keeping kabaddi alive in the province despite the lack of resources.
