DIKHAN Recruitment Probe: Anti-Corruption Seeks Missing Documents Amidst Bribery Allegations

Dera Ismail Khan residents have filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Department (ACD) alleging bribery in the 2022 sports directorate recruitments. The ACD has requested recruitment records from the directorate, some of which are reportedly missing.

The investigation comes as a surprise as some of the officials involved in the 2022 recruitment process have since been promoted within the directorate. The complainants, local residents of Dera Ismail Khan, allege that bribes of Rs. 5-7 lakh were demanded from candidates.

The ACD has requested missing documents to complete their investigation. This news has sparked outrage, with many calling for a wider anti-corruption drive within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sports department.
