Peshawar's Special Athlete Appeals to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Over Sports Directorate Barriers

Peshawar , Sami, a dedicated athlete from Peshawar with special needs, has made an earnest appeal to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to address the issues caused by the provincial sports directorate. According to Sami, the sports directorate has blocked roads, making it extremely difficult for him and other players with special needs to access the grounds. He expressed deep regret over these actions, emphasizing that the administration should be creating facilities to ease their participation rather than increasing their difficulties.

Sami highlighted the daily challenges faced by athletes like him due to barriers erected on both sides of the grounds, questioning how they are supposed to move around and play. Addressing the Chief Minister directly in a video, Sami criticized the actions of the Director General of Sports, likening them to the behavior of children, and urged the CM to intervene. He also mentioned the lack of communication and the unfair treatment they are enduring. Sami, a person of diverse abilities, passionately appealed for the Chief Minister's attention and hoped for a meeting to discuss the matter.
