Millions Vanish as Caretaker Govt Throws Sports Complex Dreams Out the Window!

PESHAWAR - Local residents are up in arms after the Provincial Sports Directorate slammed the brakes on dream sports complexes in Shangla and Butgram. Not only are the projects kaput, but millions spent on land acquisition have vanished into thin air!

The government forked over crores for plots in Shangla's Alpuri (Feb. 2017) and Chuha Gujjar (May 2021). Funds were even allocated for construction in Chuha Gujjar!

But wait, there's more! The caretaker government came in and POOF! Both land acquisitions mysteriously disappeared.

Butgram wasn't spared either. Public land earmarked for a sports complex was snatched back under "suspicious circumstances," leaving everyone scratching their heads.

Whispers of shady land deals and misuse of funds reached the Anti-Corruption Department, prompting whispers of investigations. Locals are demanding a thorough probe to unearth the truth behind this land acquisition rollercoaster.

Citizens seeking answers about their applications submitted during the previous administration have been met with deafening silence from the Sports Directorate.

Three months of radio silence? That's a major red flag!

The people of Peshawar deserve better! The Sports Directorate needs to come clean about these shady land deals, missing millions, and the radio silence. Transparency now, or prepare to face the fury of a sports-loving community denied their rightful facilities!
