Elections Completed, Colonel Syed Akram Sadaf Elected President of Pakistan Archery Federation!

 

 

Pakistan Archery Federation held its elections today in Lahore, electing a new cabinet to lead the sport for the next four years. Retired Colonel Syed Akram Sadaf was elected as the new President, with Zulfiqar Butt taking the role of Secretary.

The elections were conducted under the supervision of a committee formed by Pakistan Olympic Association and World Archery Federation, ensuring transparency and adherence to regulations.

Colonel Sadaf expressed his commitment to promoting archery within the legal framework and fostering the sport at all levels, including the grassroots. He acknowledged the near miss for Pakistani archers in qualifying for the Olympics and pledged to provide better support for future qualification efforts. He also highlighted the increasing participation and success of female archers in Pakistan.

The newly elected cabinet has a lot to achieve in the coming years. With a focus on development, support, and qualification, Pakistan archery looks poised to take further strides towards international recognition and Olympic glory.
