A troubling incident unfolded at the Peshawar Sports Complex, shedding light on security vulnerabilities and concerns regarding the behavior of certain cricket players towards a female archery coach and young archers.

 

Reports indicate that two individuals, purportedly cricket players, disregarded instructions to relocate to the cricket academy and instead confronted a female coach within the archery area. Displaying disrespectful behavior, they asserted their entitlement to use the facilities, despite lacking proper registration or fee payment. Efforts by officials to address the situation were thwarted as the individuals absconded before they could be apprehended.

 

Subsequent investigations revealed the unauthorized entry of these individuals, casting a shadow on the complex's security protocols. Moreover, suspicions arose regarding potential collusion within the provincial sports directorate, enabling recurrent unauthorized access and misconduct by certain individuals.

 

This incident underscores the urgent need for enhanced security measures and accountability mechanisms within sports facilities, safeguarding the integrity of coaching environments and ensuring the safety of all participants.
