Unauthorized Cricket Activity Disrupts Archery Practice at Peshawar Sports Complex

PESHAWAR - Despite the official closure of the Moazullah Khan Cricket Academy, young men affiliated with various clubs have been seen practicing cricket on the grounds designated for archery at the Peshawar Sports Complex. This unauthorized activity is causing disruption and concern for female archery players who use the facility.

The players, who haven't participated in provincial or national-level competitions, reportedly don't pay fees to the Provincial Sports Directorate. Additionally, their practice violates a directive prohibiting access to the complex before Eid.

Adding to the confusion, the players are not utilizing the designated cricket academy. Their presence disrupts archery practice and raises safety concerns due to a previous incident of damaged archery equipment, allegedly caused by a footballer.

The audacity of these unauthorized players suggests potential backing from within the Provincial Sports Directorate, further fueling concerns about mismanagement of the complex.
