Sports Directorate Verification Done, But No Pay Before Eid?

PESHAWAR - Daily wage employees of the Provincial Sports Directorate face a frustrating wait for their salaries, despite verification being complete. With Eid approaching next week, their anxiety grows as a decision on their pay remains elusive.

 

Sources within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate reveal inconsistencies in payments. While some sections have received salaries, others remain entirely ignored. Employees are told salaries will be released after verification by the Sports Advisor.

 

Favoritism seems to be at play. Certain sections, deemed to be "in the good book" of officers, have received assurances of receiving several months' worth of pay. Others are told they'll only get one month's salary due to termination.

 

Adding to the confusion, employees allege an officer forced 294 daily wagers to sign termination papers before being appointed as a "special car officer."  If all workers were terminated, why were select sections exempt?

 

This situation has caused significant anxiety among daily wage employees, including coaches, who are left questioning their financial stability and facing a bleak Eid outlook.
