Islamabad, Pakistan: Pakistan's future badminton stars are shining bright after three players secured their places in the finals of the South Asian Junior Badminton Championship Islamabad 2024 (SJBC2024).

 

U-15 Triumph: Abdul Haseeb Khan from Pakistan delivered a dominant performance in the U-15 semi-final, defeating Nepal's Rajan Magar.

 

Double Delight: The Pakistani duo of Muhammad Ryan Khan and Shazeen Malik proved their mettle in the doubles final, overcoming the Maldives' Muhammad Rayan and Muhammad Masih.

 

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Connection: Adding to the excitement, all three finalists hail from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, highlighting the region's burgeoning badminton talent. Zafar Ali Khan, President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Badminton Association, and Amjad Khan, its General Secretary, were present to witness the players' achievements.

Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
