PESHAWAR - Daily wage employees, including coaches recruited by former Provincial Sports Directorate head Khalid Mehmood, are facing financial hardship due to unpaid salaries for the past four months. These coaches, entrusted with shaping future athletes, claim they are now struggling with debt and living on loans.

One coach, appointed by Mehmood, shared his plight: "Initially, I received a month's salary, but then it stopped. Despite providing data and information to officials, nothing has changed." This sentiment echoes among several coaches, forced to navigate daily life through borrowed means.

While the reason for the salary delays remains unclear, the impact on these employees is undeniable. With their livelihoods in jeopardy, questions arise about the Provincial Government's commitment to supporting sports and its personnel.
