Sports Directorate Dodges Transparency on Land Allocation, Section Four Removal

The Provincial Sports Directorate is refusing to disclose details about the land designated for a new sports complex, including the mysterious removal of a land-use provision known as Section Four. Information requests were filed under the Right to Information Act regarding the complex's ownership in Bitgram and Peshawar.

Further inquiries sought clarification on the installation and subsequent removal of  Section Four, as well as any changes to previously approved locations.

Despite a December 6th inquiry, well beyond the legally mandated response time, the Directorate remains silent.  A formal complaint has been lodged with the Right to Information Commission, demanding that they compel the Sports Directorate to provide the requested information.
