A Peshawar resident is seeking accountability from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate, lodging a formal complaint with the Information Commission for their failure to address a Right to Information (RTI) request concerning the Maazullah Khan Cricket Academy.

 Despite the request being filed on December 27, 2023, and the legally mandated response time of 15 days having elapsed, the Sports Directorate has remained silent, prompting the citizen to escalate the matter.

The RTI sought crucial details about the academy's operations, including player demographics, financial aspects, equipment provision, and more. The citizen's action underscores the importance of transparency and accountability in public institutions.
