National Under-18 Volleyball Championship Kicks Off in Peshawar on March 1st

 

 

The National Under-18 Junior Volleyball Championship will commence on March 1st in Peshawar and run through March 5th. Eleven teams will vie for the title, including:

 

Two teams from Punjab

Two teams from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Teams from Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir

Teams from the Army, WAPDA, and Air Force

 

According to Khalid Waqar Chamkani, Secretary General of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Volleyball Association, outstanding players from this championship will be selected for the Under-21 team. These players will attend a training camp led by Brazilian coaches in preparation for the Asian Championship.

 

Preparations for the championship are underway in Peshawar. Mr. Chamkani expressed his gratitude to Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqub of the Volleyball Federation for awarding the tournament to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and pledged the association's commitment to ensuring its success.
