llegations of Bias Surface in Inter-Board Peshawar Cricket Trials

Peshawar: Cricketers participating in Inter-Board Peshawar's recent trials have alleged unfair practices, claiming preferential treatment was given to players from a specific private college. This alleged bias has caused disappointment and calls for transparency.

Players reported observing special attention and attempts to "cover up" for athletes from this private college. They argue that if the objective was to promote specific players, open trials shouldn't have been announced. They emphasize the need for fair and unbiased selection processes.

Efforts to reach Inter-Board Peshawar's Director of Sports proved unsuccessful, as his phone remained busy. WhatsApp messages seeking his perspective also went unanswered. Similarly, Chairman Inter-Board Peshawar Nasrullah Yousafzai offered no response to WhatsApp inquiries regarding the allegations.

The silence from officials fuels concerns about the validity of the selection process. Cricket enthusiasts and the participating players deserve clear answers and assurance of fair play.
