Fake DSOs Face Axe: Computer Operators Scramble to Save Cushy Jobs

A major shake-up is underway in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sports scene, with the Provincial Sports Directorate finally addressing the issue of "fake DSOs." These individuals, originally computer operators and assistants, were illegally appointed as District Sports Officers (DSOs) and have been enjoying higher salaries and positions for some time.

However, with the appointment of new, qualified DSOs, these "fake" officers are facing the music. They will be sent back to their original positions, ending their undeserved perks and exposing the underlying nepotism and corruption within the system.

Panicked by this development, these temporary DSOs are desperately lobbying to retain their positions. They're contacting influential figures like local assembly members and bureaucrats, hoping to exert pressure and cling to their ill-gotten gains.

Adding insult to injury, it's revealed that these "fake DSOs" have shown minimal activity or achievements during their illegitimate tenures, highlighting the detrimental impact of such corrupt practices on provincial sports development.

 

Demand a thorough investigation into these illegal appointments and hold those responsible accountable.

Advocate for merit-based appointments and transparency in the Provincial Sports Directorate.
