Swat Zalmi Emerges Victorious Over Fateh XI in Swat Hockey Championship

In the midst of the first Khairur Rahman hockey tournament at the Swat Hockey Aster and Turf, the second day witnessed a series of decisive matches. Among them was a riveting clash between Swat Zalmi and Fateh XI. The intense competition concluded with Swat Zalmi securing victory with a three-goal lead.

District Sports Officer Swat, Obaidullah, graced the match as the special guest, accompanied by notable figures from the Swat Hockey Association, including Chairman Dr. Zafar Haji Muhammad Abbas, Secretary Musa Khan, and Malik Widan. Prior to the match, the special guest, along with the association members, introduced the players, adding a ceremonious touch to the event.

Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
