Swat Hockey Championship Heats Up as League Matches Begin

The highly anticipated league matches of the Swat Hockey Championship kicked off today on the Swat Hockey Turf, following the conclusion of the thrilling knockout stage of the Khairur Rehman Memorial Tournament. In an action-packed opening match, Swat Core Hockey Club outscored Swat 11 by 4-2, securing the first victory of the championship.

Adding to the excitement, former Chairman Bin Amin Khan graced the event as the special guest, witnessing the fierce competition firsthand.

 The audience included esteemed dignitaries like President of the District Hockey Association Swat, Dr. Zafar Ali Khan, and a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators who roared with cheers throughout the game.

    The Mohmand Bajaur Aman Cycle Race, aimed at spreading the message of peace, is set to take place on November 17, 18, and 19. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
