Sports Directorate Stalled? Staff Stranded as Fuel Payments Dry Up for Months

The engines of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate are sputtering to a halt, thanks to a four-month fuel payment drought. Employees used to cruise on 100 liters of free fuel monthly, but now they're stuck in neutral, forced to pay out of their own pockets just to keep their official duties going. This financial pit stop has them fuming with stress, wondering how long they can shoulder the burden.

Whispers of favoritism swirl around the vehicle distribution in the Sports Directorate. Apparently, some officers have chosen their chariots like a buffet line, snagging rides not only from their own districts but also from the provincial pool. One such lucky ducky even doubled their fleet, holding onto two vehicles at once. Talk about hogging the road!

Former DG Sports Khalid Mahmood tried to jumpstart the system by handing vehicle and fuel management to the Development Director. But for many employees, it's been a bumpy ride ever since. Requests for official wheels gather dust, while others speed by in their undeserved rides.

The new Director General, Abdul Nasir Khan, faces a challenge worthy of an Olympic gold medal: fairly distribute the Directorate's fleet and ensure every deserving employee gets a ride. A thorough fuel audit for the past year might be the perfect pit stop to expose any irregularities and get this team back on track. After all, fair play shouldn't be limited to the field – it should fuel every aspect of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate.
