National Star Stalemates Khabi Corps in Thrilling Draw at Khairur Rehman Memorial Hockey Championship

KHARUR Rehman Memorial Hockey Championship Swat, Pakistan: In a nail-biting encounter on the Swat Astro Turf, National Star Hockey Club Saidu Sharif held Khabi Corps to a 4-4 draw in the ongoing Khairur Rehman Memorial Hockey Championship.

The late Khairur Rehman, whose memory the tournament honors, would have been proud of the attacking spirit displayed by both teams. Despite starting as underdogs, National Star kept Khabi Corps on their toes throughout the match.

On this occasion, President District Hockey Association Swat Dr. Zafar Ali Khan Swat, Chairman Haji Muhammad Abbas, Secretary Swat Musa Khan and Malik Widan were also present in the ground.

Govt urge open wedding halls in KP, owners

    PESHAWAR, (kikxNow) Representatives of Wedding Halls Association Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (WHA-KP) expressed their regret over still closure of wedding halls and demanded of the government to open halls. Speaking at a news press conference here at Peshawar Press Club (PPC) on Tuesday, president of WHA Khalid Ayub said that livelihood of hundreds of thousands workers were associated those wedding halls but it depends of their running business of marriages in the concerned halls. He said that there were 120 registered and 170 unregistered wedding halls in the provincial metropolis (Peshawar) while in the province there approximately 600 marriage halls, which were closed for four months due to COVID-19.
