The District Sports Office (DSO) Mardan, under the Provincial Sports Directorate, hosted 22 tournaments in 2022, engaging 5,273 local players across various sports. However, a Right to Information (RTI) request revealed a startling detail: none of these players received  (TADA).

The RTI response, obtained after appealing to the Information Commission, confirmed that the DSO, with district government support, organized all events.

It also documented the hiring of 42 employees and operational gyms with 3 staff each in 2022. However, crucial details like employee names and appointment procedures were conspicuously absent.
