Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Approves ₹6 million for Top Performers at 34th National Games

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a budget of ₹6 millions to reward athletes who achieved top positions for the province at the 34th National Games held in Quetta. This decision comes after the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Olympic Association requested ₹1 crore for prize money from the provincial government.

Sources from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Directorate confirmed that the provincial government initially considered the Olympic Association's request but ultimately approved a smaller amount. The funds will be released to the Provincial Sports Directorate soon and distributed to the prize-winning athletes.

While the exact format of the award ceremony and prize distribution (cash or bank transfer) is yet to be decided, officials are leaning towards a special event in collaboration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Olympic Association. This announcement signifies a commitment to supporting athlete achievements and promoting sports excellence in the province.
