Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber, Justice Retired Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, graced the Peshawar Lawyers Unity Sports Gala 2023-24 organized by the Peshawar High Court Bar Association as a distinguished guest. During the prize distribution ceremony, the Chief Minister presented medals and trophies to outstanding athletes who excelled in various sports.

Not only celebrating the athletic achievements, but the Chief Minister also announced a generous grant of Rs 30 lakh for the Peshawar High Court Bar Association, emphasizing the government's commitment to supporting legal professionals. In a significant move, he pledged to provide land for the construction of a committee hall and a hostel for lawyers in Peshawar, urging relevant authorities to take prompt actions.

Expressing his sentiments, the Chief Minister referred to lawyers as an integral part of his extended family. He highlighted the crucial role lawyers play in society, considering them as leaders who guide communities in various matters. Furthermore, he underlined the indelible contribution of lawyers to the restoration of the judiciary, recognizing their historical significance in shaping the legal landscape.
