Calling All Peshawar Sports Heroes! Nominations Open for 2024 Awards

The Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has set out to honor the rising stars of Peshawar's sporting scene! In an official letter, District Sports Officer (DSO) Peshawar has officially requested the Olympic Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to submit nominations for emerging athletes deserving of recognition.

Regional Sports Officer Peshawar, Zakir Khan, has urged the DSO to swiftly identify these rising stars by January 14th. He emphasizes the need for complete player profiles and two photographs to solidify each nomination for the 2024 awards ceremony. Shields and awards await these talented individuals!

However, as of now, no nominations have been received by the association. With just a few days remaining, the call for nominations echoes across Peshawar's sporting circles. Will your favorite athlete make the cut?

    The Mohmand Bajaur Aman Cycle Race, aimed at spreading the message of peace, is set to take place on November 17, 18, and 19. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
