A troubling practice has emerged within the Provincial Sports Directorate, with officials resorting to using their own fuel in official vehicles for the past three months. While promises of reimbursement upon fund availability have been made, the situation remains unresolved as the second quarter of the financial year 2023-24 nears its end, and the allocated fuel budget still awaits release.

This reliance on personal resources raises concerns about financial mismanagement and potential abuse of official privileges. The Directorate's silence on the delayed budget and lack of clarity regarding reimbursement timelines only heighten these concerns.
