Newly Appointed DG Sports Fosters Collaboration with DSOs, Advocates Positive Approach

Peshawar ,  In a significant gathering at the Provincial Sports Directorate, Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abdul Nasir Khan, convened with District Sports Officers (DSOs) and Regional Sports Officers from various districts.

During the meeting, DSOs provided updates on their respective activities, shedding light on the challenges they faced, primarily attributed to insufficient funds hindering the execution of planned initiatives.

DG Sports Abdul Nasir Khan, while addressing the concerns raised by the DSOs, urged them to initiate sports activities at the district level. Emphasizing the importance of fostering positive sports engagement for athletes in their regions, he encouraged DSOs to channel their efforts into tangible initiatives.

However, Khan also noted a tendency for mutual criticism and complaints among the DSOs during the meeting. Expressing his dissatisfaction with this approach, he underscored the need for a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset. Khan urged the DSOs to focus on their respective responsibilities, refrain from making complaints against each other, and utilize direct communication rather than resorting to indirect messages.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to building a more cohesive and constructive relationship between the DG Sports office and the DSOs, with an overarching goal of enhancing sports activities throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
