Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Boxers Gear Up for National Championship and International Glory

A bustling boxing camp has sprung up in the Peshawar Sports Complex, where over 20 young boxers hone their skills daily under the watchful eye of Coach Muhammad Afzal from the Sports Directorate. Overseeing this intensive training program is Secretary Khizrullah of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Boxing Association.

The camp is a dedicated training ground for the upcoming Junior Boxing Championship in early January. Next week, rigorous trials will determine the top contenders who will represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the championship.

In even more exciting news, three of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's boxing stars have already secured their spots for an international competition to be held in Saudi Arabia in 2024. This prestigious opportunity showcases the growing talent and dedication of the region's young boxers.

    The Mohmand Bajaur Aman Cycle Race, aimed at spreading the message of peace, is set to take place on November 17, 18, and 19. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
