Peshawar ,  National athlete Nazia Ali, hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, garnered acclaim for her exceptional performance at the 7th South Asian Cadet Junior Under-21 and Senior Karate Championship held in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Upon their return, Nazia Ali and the Pakistani team manager, Internationally Qualified Coach Shah Faisal, were accorded a warm welcome at Qayyum Sports Complex Peshawar.

During the reception, Additional DG Sports Rashida Ghaznavi extended a warm welcome to the national player, presenting her with a bouquet of flowers. The event was graced by the presence of General Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Karate Association, Khalid Noor, Administrator of Peshawar Sports Complex Syed Jafar Shah, and various other esteemed personalities and karate players.

Nazia Ali, representing Pakistan in the South Asian Karate Championship, showcased her prowess by securing bronze medals in the 68 kg senior and team fight categories. In the same championship, Laiba Zia clinched a gold medal by triumphing over an Indian athlete in the 68 kg category, while Arzoo secured another gold medal by defeating a Nepali athlete in the -66 kg category.
