Hooping Up Skills: Pakistani Basketball Coaches Hone Techniques at Five-Day Camp

A five-day basketball coaching training camp organized by the Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBF) in Lahore drew to a close recently, empowering coaches from across the country. Fifteen enthusiastic participants, ten men and five women representing various departments and provinces, honed their skills and learned from the best.

The camp, held under the International Olympic Committee's aegis, benefited from the support of the PBF and the expertise of international coach Milan Kutrik. Coach Kutrik, hailing from the prestigious International Basketball Federation, shared valuable insights into the technical nuances of the game, leaving a lasting impact on the participating coaches.

Among them was Faisal Bakhtiar, representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Upon successfully completing the program, Bakhtiar proudly received a certificate, a testament to his dedication and newfound knowledge.

    The Mohmand Bajaur Aman Cycle Race, aimed at spreading the message of peace, is set to take place on November 17, 18, and 19. Cyclists hailing from all four provinces and Islamabad are gearing up for the three-day championship, with participation from various teams, including those from Pakistan Army, Higher Education Commission, WAPDA, and Railway.   The event, under the watchful eye of technical officials, boasts a distinguished lineup, featuring Colonel Retd Jahanzeb Niazi from Balochistan, Gul Muhammad Kakar from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Mohmand, and Amjad Nawaz Khan from WAPDA.
